Jiangsu Masada Heavy Industries
Established in 2005 and nestled in the vibrant Gangzha economic development zone in Nantong, Jiangsu province. Masada Heavy Industries has emerged as a beacon of excellence in the maritime industry. Our expansive factory, spanning over 233,000 square meters, serves as the epicenter of innovation and precision.
As the exclusive license holder for manufacturing Mitsubishi deck cranes, deck machinery, steering gear, hose handling cranes, hydraulic motors, and hydraulic pumps in China, we stand as a paragon of specialized marine deck equipment production. Operating as a joint venture enterprise, we possess the unique ability to offer a comprehensive range of marine deck equipment supporting solutions.
Fueled by a relentless pursuit of excellence, we have adopted the advanced technology and manufacturing management principles pioneered by the esteemed MHI group. Partnership in Progress: Mitsubishi and Masada's Licensing Agreement
In a strategic move to strengthen their collaborative endeavors, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) has entered into a licensing agreement with Masada Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. This marks a continuation of their partnership that began in 2008 when MHI initially licensed deck crane technology to Masada. Under the latest agreement, Masada gains the license for the production and marketing of steering gears and deck machinery, establishing a foundation for offering a comprehensive suite of three hydraulic marine machinery products. This significant development positions Masada as the sole manufacturer capable of providing all three products under the renowned Mitsubishi brand. With the synergy derived from this licensing arrangement, Masada aims to penetrate further into the dynamic shipbuilding market.
The licensed technologies encompass steering gears and deck machinery tailored for small and medium-sized under-Panamax vessels, with MHI supplying the necessary hydraulic equipment to drive these advanced marine machinery. The ambitious plans include the construction of a new plant, doubling the production capacity by the end of the year and enhancing market penetration. Today, as they embark on accelerated business expansion and production capacity increase, this partnership signifies a milestone in their journey toward maritime excellence.
